Enchanted Meadows

The inspiration comes from my connection to the Canadian East Coast, specifically Nova Scotia where my mother grew up. Recently, we took a road trip out east and travelled the Cabot Trail. On the trip, we had stopped at a local gift shop and I had bought a book called "The Fairies of Cape Breton", I was intrigued by both the magic and folklore of the mischievous creatures hidden among the meadows. The fairies seemed to mirror my own playful, and at times feisty personality and I was inspired to create a new collection that reflected the energy of the enchanted meadows of Cape Breton.
